Privacy and measurement preferences

If you allow measurement, we record the page you visit, clicks on phone, contact and map links, button placement, date and campaign tags in the link. These records do not represent confirmed reservations or completed phone calls.

Information recorded

İkon Otel's own measurement dashboard does not store your name, phone number, IP address, full query URL or Google Ads click identifier. Campaign, source and medium tags may be recorded. These tags must not contain personal information.

Your measurement preference is stored in your browser; campaign information is stored for the session you have consented to. İkon Otel measurement records are retained for up to 90 days. Short-lived hashes derived from IP addresses are used for security rate limits and cleared daily. The hosting provider may keep separate security logs.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager manages Google measurement tags on this site. The container loads when the page opens. With JavaScript enabled, Google measurement and advertising storage consent is initialized from your saved preference, or denied if no preference exists. Loading the container does not by itself record a booking or conversion. With JavaScript disabled, the Google Tag Manager noscript frame may send a request to Google.

Google Ads

When the Google Ads integration is enabled and you give consent, the Google tag loads and phone-link clicks may be sent to Google for advertising measurement. Google may use its own cookies. Ad personalisation is disabled in this site's tag settings.

ClickSambo

ClickSambo tracking is used to analyse visits and advertising traffic. The ClickSambo tracking script loads directly when the page opens and is not controlled by the site measurement consent preference. The full page URL, referring page, clicked links, scrolling activity and an identifier generated from browser and device characteristics may be sent to ClickSambo. The script creates a one-year device identifier cookie and a visit cookie. When JavaScript is disabled, the tracking pixel embedded in the page sends a request to ClickSambo without waiting for measurement consent. Your IP address is also transmitted when connecting to the third-party provider.

Changing your preference

Use the Privacy preferences button at the bottom of the page to change your measurement consent. This preference controls the site measurement and Google Ads tag; it does not stop the directly loaded ClickSambo script or the pixel used when JavaScript is disabled. Previously sent data and provider cookies are not automatically deleted. You can still use the site and call the hotel without consenting. Withdrawal does not automatically delete previous records or existing Google cookies; you can delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your language choice is stored in your browser to remember your preference on later visits. Without a saved choice, the homepage uses Turkish for a Turkish browser language and English for other or unavailable languages.
